Description

The Vendome bar stool is a brilliant take on the classic A18 Bistro chair, extending the four slender wooden legs to make it a fabulous traditionally designed bar stool. Available in cream, grey, red, purple or lime green, the Vendome is a stunning stool still fabricated using techniques pioneered by Michael Thonet, giving this stool a historic background. The wood en components that make up the frame are shaped using the original jigs and ovens from the late 1800s, making this stool a superb addition for any kitchen or breakfast bar with traditional decor. The round seat is comfortable and is helped by the tall backrest, the two sinuous, curving strips of wood giving superb support for your back. A wooden ring braces the legs and doubles as a handy footrest, and a curved beam above secures the seat and provides added detail.
