Dense foam padding adds to the comfort of the Impulse, being found on the cushion and the supportive backrest. Adding to the relaxing qualities is the dropped square footrest and the height varying gas lift mechanism, which swivels 360 degrees allowing you to tailor the stool to your needs. The flat base has a heavy metal plate that lowers the centre of gravity for high stability, and is sheathed in steel which has a brushed finish like the rest of the frame.
