BAR CHAIRS
Modern bar chairs are a stylish accompaniment to any modern kitchen or breakfast bar, sleek and stylish in any location. Comfortable padded seats are accommodating and ergonomically formed, allowing you to simply sit back and relax. There are a whole host of bar chair seat designs; all with high density foam padding beneath soft faux leather seats, but in a myriad of styles ranging from the contemporary to the traditional. They often utilise stitch detailing, segmenting the seat surface for a quilted look that adds to the upmarket feel, or have contrasting materials to great effect. Wooden frames are not uncommon, with finishes such as walnut and beech, whilst there are also designs sporting gloss ABS resin shells, giving a characteristic retro touch.

The eye catching array of styles available come in two heights, one designed for bar tables or bar counters and the other for poseur tables of commercial height bars. Due to this flexibility and diversity found in the array of bars, many bar chairs are superbly functional and showcase gas lift mechanisms that allow you to raise and lower them as well as turn through 360 degrees, making access to any counter or table all the easier. Bar height stools stand between 65 to 70cm whilst their taller counterparts are from 75 to 80cm, and there is much variation in the range, with a perfect style for you. You can even find low stools, which can be dropped to the same height as dining chairs, making these stools very dynamic and customisable, ideal with both dining table and bar tables.
The final part of the bar chair is the base, which is designed to keep the whole unit sturdy and rigid. You can find four leg bases as well as cantilevered frames which give added springiness and damping when you lean back for added comfort, but the majority come as round domed bases, complete with integrated floor guard beneath. At the top of the range are flat bases, either circular or square. These have a cast iron core that adds weight and lowers the centre of gravity for superb levels of stability.
