Bar stools are the perfect addition to any beauty salon, with their functionality backed by striking styles that catch the eye in any location. The majority are gas lift bar stools, which are very useful for a salon environment as the seat can be raised or lowered depending on the customer, making it all the easier for the stylist to perform their magic. The swivel function allows any stylist to effortlessly rotate their clientele, providing the perfect position and easy access for those hard to reach places to deliver that killer look. When doing hair it allows you to inspect all angles, and when performing manicures you can find the most comfortable position for yourself and the customer with ease.
We have stools that are perfect for stylists themselves, with such designs as the Roller stool, Saddle stool and Go-Go chair. These have the integrated gas lift and swivel mechanism but also have the added feature of roller wheels, with nylon casters on a 5-spoke base much like those on office chairs. This provides easy movement, allowing you manoeuvre into the perfect position and glide over any type of flooring, as well as zip across the floor to grab all the essentials from your shelf or storeroom.
Our range of seats is superbly comfortable, with high density foam padding gracing such items as the Lush brushed steel bar stool, with its high back and horizontal detailing, or the Padded Crescent with its accommodating seat and low, curving backrest. If padded seats are not desirable, our ergonomic styles sculpted from ABS resin such as the Abyss bar stool or Gloss Coco bar stool may do just the trick. Aside from being shaped to the body for excellent support, the ABS material itself is very hand wearing and impact resistant, ideal for a high paced environment.
Faux leather stools are the choice of upholstery, and this is another material that would work perfectly on a salon bar stool. Faux leather is more resilient to stains and to harsh chemicals than genuine leather, as well as being much more inexpensive, but still keeping that luxury, premium look. It can easily be cleaned; simply wiped with a damp cloth should any spillages occur, whilst hair is no trouble and can just be brushed off.
Stools are also being used for fish pedicures such as the garra pedicure that is now becoming increasingly popular. A bar stool allows anyone having such a pedicure to prepare themselves, sit on the stool and rotate into place, then drop the height of the stool for access to the foot spa, making the whole experience all the more fluid and effortless.
