Contoured Solid Wood Seat
Solid wood forms the round backless seat and has a contoured shape to enhance the comfort of the user. Crafted with a light wood finish, it has rustic style and a clever compact design.
Industrial Gas Lift Frame
A unique feature for this style of stool is the adjustable height gas lift and 360-degree swivel mechanism. This contrasts with the metal four-legged frame, which has an antiqued industrial finish and is braced by a circular footrest. Each tapered leg also has a protective pad for floor protection.

When I realised my kitchen is not big enough to use stools with backs at the island, I at least wanted a contoured wooden seat, but I also wanted a swivel stool because they're fun. I looked and looked and was thinking about commissioning someone to make two for me. But before I did I found Atlantic Shopping. The Compass industrial stool was just what I was looking for and at a really good price. It did not disappoint. It is a marvellous swivel stool. I swore a bit in putting it together, but then I'm not so mechanically-minded and if it were assembled it would certainly cost a lot more. And it arrived the next day at the time specified. Very satisfied.
