Commercial Vs Domestic Bar Stools
On occasion, we have customers enquiring about our commercial bar stools, and what it is that makes them different from the domestic bar stools that form the bulk of our range. The Commercial stools sold by Atlantic Shopping, such as the Dumbo Bar Stool, are all heavy duty stools made to a high grade. This makes them extremely hard wearing and able to withstand a lot more punishment. They can take a lot more strain from people rocking on them, and repeatedly using the gas lift, or even swivelling on them a lot.
Uses Of Commercial Bar Stools
Because of this, these bar stools are ideal for use in places such as pubs and clubs, where furniture tends to be overlooked by the users, and in busy environments such as fast food establishments and cafés. In these types of places, the endless stream of customers means that the bar stools are in constant use, being loaded and unloaded by people getting on and off, and our commercial bar stools are well equipped to deal with the stresses that inevitably come with such circumstances as seen in the Deluxe Casino Bar Stool.
Commercial Stool Seat Heights
Our commercial grade bar stools also have a higher seat than our domestic range. In the home, the work surface or table that the bar stools are placed at are usually 90cm from the floor to the top surface, whereas in a pub or club environment, the bar is usually about 105cm or above. Because of this, the stools need to be taller, adding more weight. To keep the centre of gravity low and to stop them from toppling over, our commercial grade bar stools come with much heavier bases to give them balance and excellent stability.
This also makes them less prone to falling if knocked into. As a useful by product, this also makes them harder to move around, which may deter customers from rearranging the layout of the pub, club or bar in which they are placed. A good example is the Button Bar Stool.
