COLOUR OF BAR TABLE TOPS

Bar tables are the perfect accompaniment to bar stools, and come in a myriad of styles and colours to suit every occasion. The traditional material for tabletops is glass, with a large quantity of the designs available having a glass top. These come as circular or square tops and are usually available in clear glass and black glass, but also popular is smoked glass with a grey translucent finish. White glass is a much rarer proposition, being only found with exclusive models such as the Milan bar stool table. Clear glass is the perfect option for those who do not want a coloured top; the translucency allows it to simply blend in with the surrounding environment, allowing you instead to take in the colours that surround it.

White and black dominate the colour spectrum for most other materials; these two minimalist colours work well in any environment and can live happily with any type of decor, making them a highly popular choice.

Wooden bar tables are most commonly found in a black or a white satin finish lacquer such as the Sovereign bar table, which makes these hard wearing and perfect for any area. Gloss finish wooden tabletops are much less usual as they can scratch quite easily. Aside from lacquer, wooden tables may also have a painted finish. This gives them a rustic quality, and many people who buy painted tables distress the tabletop, making it appear old for a vintage look and feel. Wooden tables such as the Blade bar table are also available in a natural finish, with oak and walnut typically on offer. Stained and varnished, oak is light and airy, whilst walnut is dark and rich. Wooden tops can also come in a cognac finish, which lies in between oak and walnut and is a red-brown colour.

Two tone tables can also be found; we have the striking Sierra bar table, with a bare aluminium tabletop ringed by a contrasting coloured band. The matt finish of the top works beautifully with the gloss black, white or red for an jaw dropping style that stands out anywhere. Another of these striking contrast designs is the Flo bar table, which has a square tabletop moulded from gloss white ABS resin with a metallic grey ABS insert on opposite sides, helping to outline the curved profile all the more clearly.

ABS resin tables such as the Podium bar table are hard wearing and very easy to clean. They are the most colourful range available; due to the nature of the material, colour is added during the injection moulding process, so virtually any colour is imaginable. The Bombo bar table is the most extensive range, with a host of matt and metallic colours to its single piece, fluted top and stem. Another option is the Reality bar table, with a metallic gloss finish ABS top. Available in silver, blue, red or orange, the reality is undeniably eye catching and adds a vibrant splash of colour to any room.
