New Products: Inexpensive Designer Stools

By Adrian Higgins, 4th May, 2012

Always striving to give you superb choice, Atlantic Shopping’s sourcing department have been busy of late, and are proud to announce a few new lines; inexpensive designer stools that will take pride of place in any home.

Beautifully crafted from solid wood for strength and showcasing padded seats upholstered in real bonded leather, they exude class and quality, adding a luxurious and opulent character in any setting. Several frame finishes are available, with dark walnut and light oak exhibiting a striking grain for an organic touch, as well as an even lighter, satin finish for a minimalist style and impact.

These pliant bonded leather bar stools come in a choice of colours, with black, brown, and cream on offer. This helps you to match these stools with your existing décor, creating a harmonious look in any location and working flawlessly with other woods, glass and even stone countertops such as black granite. All standing on four legs, they are rigid and robust in every circumstance, helped by the bracing bars between, the front of which acts as a handy footrest. This helps you to feel secure and sturdy, whilst also being superb for hardwood floors, tiles and even carpet. The chic and compact Oliver Bar Stool (pictured below) has just this framework and a chunky squared cushion atop, but still manages tremendous impact and practicality.

Giving even more support and comfort is the Rhodes Bar Stool, which has a seat pad supplemented by a tall backrest, ergonomically formed to cosset your body and ensure you are relaxed even after extended periods of use. There is a second level of braces tying the two curved rear legs to the front, providing added visual acuity and even more integrity to the structure. (November 2014 - Please note, the Rhodes has now been discontinued.)

The third of the designs released is the Ramsay Bar Stool, which is the largest of the three. A U-shaped brace and two part seat make it a traditionally styled item, having a separate padded backrest that sits high atop the arched rear legs. The Ramsay adds an imperious presence, making it perfect for any discerning household. (December 2018 - Please note, the Ramsay has now been discontinued.)

We have also added to our gas lift range with the contemporary Style Bar Stool (pictured below). Standing on a steel frame plated in mirror finish chrome, the Style is very stable and has a circular base complete with integrated floor guard beneath. The hydraulic mechanism, which gives variable height and 360 degree swivel, is housed inside the central cylinder, on which is mounted a hand-crafted T-bar footrest. The single piece seat utilises comfortable high density foam, above which is black faux leather that is stitched into horizontal sections, accentuating the padding below for added detail.

Though inexpensive, all these stools are high quality items that are fashionable yet highly utile. Easy to clean and resistant to staining should any spillages occur, they're ideal in even the most boisterous and lively of homes.
