BAR TABLE |
| Bar tables are primarily styled and designed to be used with bar stools and stand at a height of around 90cm. This is the same height as a kitchen worksurface. They come in many designs with a range of different tops. Bar tables usually have larger and subsequently heavier bases than stools so as to keep the centre of gravity low and hence increasing their stability. |

POSEUR TABLE |
| With a similar design to bar tables, but at a taller height of around 100-109cm poseur tables are designed to be stood at rather than sat. If you do wish to sit at them you should be looking for seat heights of 75-80cm. They are often found in more comercial environments such as clubs, bars or use at exhibitions. |

CHROME |
Chromed tables are made from a steel frame which is electro plated with a chromium alloy. This gives it a hard wearing mirror finish that is resistant to scratches. It reflects its surrounding environment and in turns fits into any environment. |

BRUSHED STEEL |
| This type of finish is produced by hand, where the stainless steel metalwork is "brushed" to give a matt satin finish. The surface of brushed steel is covered in lines that blur the reflection, giving it a more muted look than chrome. This is ideal to match your brushed steel applianances or sockets. It does tend to be more expensive than chrome due to it being hand finished. |

WOOD |
| Wood is a natural organic material which is derived from trees. Once polished it has a wonderful lustre which is much sought after. Wood can either be in its natural finish or alternatively made into a laminate hardwearing top which is ideal for comercial environments. Some wooden table tops are even painted to suite many modern environments and designs. |

GAS LIFT |
| The gas lift bar table has a cylinder that allows adjustable height. When the lever is pulled upwards it depresses a button on the top of the cylinder and in turn the table raises. To lower the table you pull the lever upwards whilst applying weight down onto the table top. These are a great type of table if you require a variable height. |

FIXED HEIGHT |
| These fixed height tables are not height adjustable, and sit at either bar table or poseur table height depending on their type. They are of a strong stable construction and may be featured around a cental pole or have individual legs. |

| These tables come with a folding top and can be stacked next to each other, making cleaning all the easier and allowing you to stow them away. They are particularly found in more comercial environments where this function is sometimes a necessity. |

ROUND TOP |
| Tables with circular table tops are the most popular and are available in a range of materials, from glass to faux leather or even granite. These tops range in size from 60cm through to 90cm. Depending on the overall size they can be used with 2-4 stools and give a great look. |

SQUARE TOP |

RECTANGULAR TOP |
| Tables with a rectangular top. These are much more unusual than round or square topped tables as the design can reduce the stability. Rectangular topped tables usually come with legs instead of a central column and base, making them more like traditional tables. These style of tables have the ability of forming a bar very easily where multiple stools can be used at one time |

TOUGHENED GLASS |
| All our glass tables only use toughened safety glass. This is glass that has been chemically or heat treated to make it harder, tougher and more resilient to knocks and impacts. This makes it much safer than normal glass, and it also has the effect of breaking into small pieces rather than large, sharp shards if the glass shatters. Tables use either 10mm or 12mm in glass thickness. |

CLEAR GLASS |
Clear glass is completely transparent The edge of it may have a greenish or bluish tint depending on the type and thickness of glass used. All glass is toughened saftey glass and is either 10mm or 12mm thick. The one advantage of clear glass is that because you see directly through it, visually the table will take up less space. |

SMOKED GLASS |
| Smoked glass has materials added to it which darkens the glass and reduces the amount of light that passes through it. Smoked glass is still translucent but has an apparent grey tint throughout. This subtle tint is a great choice for that slightly different look which will still blend into your environment. |

BLACK GLASS |
| Black glass of this type has had further materials added to it that make it completely black and opaque. Black glass still feels and behaves like glass but is more reflective instead of being translucent. This gives you all the benefits of glass being easy to clean plus a totally opaque black gloss top. |

SPARKLE GLASS |
| A special type of black glass, sparkle glass has small crystals embedded into. These are designed to catch the light and give the surface a glittering effect.
