Description
The Shimmer bar stool black is a contemporary item of furniture, with a seat made from acrylic resin. Ergonomically designed to give you the highest in comfort, the seat has an undulating profile, curving up into a low lip at the rear and cascading down at the front, drawing your legs towards the footrest below. The seat is moulded from high gloss black acrylic, giving an opaque piano finish that reflects light in a captivating way, really catching the eye. The black works flawlessly with the chrome plated frame below, where you can find the base keeps the Shimmer very stable. The base has a rubber floor guard beneath, designed to keep scratches at bay and with the gas lift mechanism finishes off the package, allowing you to raise or lower the seat as well as turn through 360 degrees.

I saw stools similar to these in Selfridges and fell in love with them but unfortunately not their price which was £100+ for one stool. I decided to have a look around online and came across this site. The stools are not the same but fairly similar in appearance and definitely more affordable plus I got them on sale which was even better. Sat delivery was prompt and the stools arrived undamaged. Assembly was fairly easy, though the instructions were a bit rudimentary and the screws supplied to fasten the seat to the frame were not as nicely finished as the seat and looked a tad industrial. Other than that I can overlook these small inconsistencies. I've bought 3 of these stools and they really compliment my black marble and white gloss kitchen. I really love the sleek, modern style and although I've looked high and low for them, this seems to be the only site with such a huge selection. Given my initial experience I would recommend this site.
