Description
The Saddle bar stool is aptly named, with a padded seat shaped like a horses saddle. This seat is designed to be ergonomic, giving high levels comfort and promoting good seating posture, all geared to make the Saddle as relaxing as it is striking. The saddle shaped seat is padded with foam and has a soft faux leather covering, available in black, red or white. It perches atop a chrome plated gas lift mechanism, giving this stool variable height and 360 degree swivel, and a chrome plated base. The base is much like that of an office chair, with 5 spokes that end in nylon castors, allowing you to glide easily over any surface. A striking design that will turn heads in any kitchen bar, breakfast bar or even a bedroom study, the Saddle is an eye catching item of furniture to adorn your home.

Excellent Stool, and the quality is better than the price would suggest. Bought for work as I have a painful hip and it was recommended I try a Saddle stool by a physiotherapist. It seemed much cheaper than any other options.

Very pleased
I tried the chiropracters saddle stool and measured it for size. This was nearest in size that I could find and also the cheapest in case i didn't get on with it. So pleased with it. I use it at work all day while working on a computer and my old computer chair has been archived!
Excellent customer service - Atlantic rang to inform me of a delay but it still came very quickly. The delivery service was excellent with a one hour delivery slot and they came on time.

Excellent value for money, very comforable
A saddle stool...for less than £50? Hmmmm.
OK, so it's marketed as a bar stool, but I was keen to try one out in my office before spending hundreds on other makes. I've used kneeler chairs and stools at work for many years and I fancied a change of posture.Comparable 'pro' stools cost £200-£800 - so I wasn't expecting great things of this model, but I was quite pleasantly surprised. It is really very good. It's easy to put together, well made and finished, and looks quite cool in red. The foot ring (usually a costly extra) is great. Too soon to comment on it's longevity in daily use, but at this price I'm tempted to buy another as a spare! My only negative is that the saddle spins a little too easily, and as I am up and down at my desk a lot, it irks me having to find the 'nose' before I can straddle it - but it's a minor gripe. A nice option would be leather and higher spec padding - but, hey, this is less than £50 remember ...so I highly recommend it (ditto for Atlantic's speedy and efficient service).
