Searching for items that give tremendous visual impact and style, we have been approached on numerousl occasions by television producers and directors, as well as their set designers, who are after that distinguishing feature to set their show apart from the crowd.
To name but a few, our ever popular Lattice bar stool cream made an appearance for the televised world cup bid. When first introduced, the compact seat with cream faux leather, stitched groove detailing and dense foam padding was an instant success, garnering attention like nothing before. It was for these reasons that it was chosen to seat the likes of David Beckham and Gordon Brown; the striking design did not come at the expense of their comfort, making it a win-win situation for all parties involved.
The chic Coco bar stool was used on X-Factor, where its contemporary lines and ergonomic, moulded seat were deemed a perfect fit. The high impact ABS resin that makes up the Coco is very durable and hard wearing, thus ideal for a lively, high energy environment with lots of activity happening at once. Available in a whole host of gloss colours on a mirror finish chrome frame, the Coco is an eye catching item that always turns heads.
On mothering Sunday of this year, the Monza kitchen bar stool black was used on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Covered in black faux leather, the classy Monzas looked superb amongst the futuristic decor of the set, and provided an ideal place for celebrities and their mothers to sit. The swept, arched backrests give superb support as well as providing a dynamic look to the stool, helping to cement the Monza as a contemporary classic. David Walliams, Olly Murs and Patsy Palmer were sat in superb comfort thanks to the high density foam, whilst the round footrests provided an ideal perch for their feet, helping them to relax whilst on the show.
The funky Fold bar stool has current tenure on the ITV breakfast show Lorraine, where a group of them is used in the interview suite. They give the presenter Lorraine Kelly and her guests a comfortable, supportive place to sit, and when not being used they provide a stunning backdrop thanks to the eye-catching design. The contoured backrest and the seat cushion which folds over itself give this stool tremendous impact, helping to transform any area.
